Friend Prompt
Helpful,beneficial,serviciable,wholesome,good,providing help for people for example your friends. I am a helpful friend because I help my friends when they need help. If someone needs my help I help them no matter what it is. I like being helpful because it makes yours friend happy and it makes you happy. It describes me as a friend because you help them when they need help and it makes them happy. It's better being helpful then not helping at all because who else will help them if you don't help them they'll always be sad and you don't want a sad friend.That is why I am a helpful,beneficial,serviciable,wholesome,good friend.

Bio sketch: Selena Quintanilla Perez

In Lake Jackson, Texas April 16, 1971 “The Queen of Tejano Music" was born, Selena Quintanilla Perez.
She became a very famous singer but it all started when she was six and ended at age 23.
Early Life
Selena recognize her talent to sing at age six and loved it. She started singing because her dad encourage her to sing "you're goanna sing little girl!",said her dad. Her dad was a great man, he was such a good dad he helped Selena with her career in singing by getting her own singing group at
Age 9 and named it Selena y los Dino’s, she performed in family restaurants. By the age of 12 she made her First album. Pretty soon her family got bankrupt and then Selena had to sing in street corners, weddings, Quinsanieras, fairs, and anywhere else they could sing. In 1985 14 year old Selena recorded her first album for a local records company and in 1986 she released a second album Alpha. Selena did well in school but her singing
interfered with her education but was lucky enough to get a Diploma at age 17 from the American school correspondence in Chicago Illinois. Her album was released in 1995 titled Miss primeras Grabaciones.
Success
At the 1982 Tejano music awards Selena won best female vocalist for seven years. In 1988 she released 2 albums Preciosa and Dulce Amor and in the same year she met a great guy Chris Perez and 2 years later
he played for Selena and fell in love. In 1989 a guy named Jose Bahar signed Selena with capitol/EMI. In 1990 she released a great song and won a Grammy. In total Selena got 36 Grammy’s. In April 1992 Selena married Chris Perez in nucess county Texas. A huge fan of Selena named Yolanda saldivar told Selena's father to start a fan club and that she should president of it to keep track of stuff. Selena opened 2 boutique's called Selena etc. and earned 5 million dollars off it. She made a concert called Selena Live! And 65,000 people/fans came.Selena also went to school to tell children how important education is.
Death/After Death
One day they found out Yolanda Saldivar stole money from the fan club. Selena made a meeting in Day’s inn hotel with Yolanda. Selena demanded her financial papers back. At 11:48 Yolanda went crazy or something to shoot the person that she is a fan of and Best friend in the back. With all her strength she called people for help and gave them Information. Selena died at 1:05pm 2 days before her anniversary at age 23 from loss of blood. Memorials were held in her honor and people played her music non-stop, her funeral had almost 60,000 mourners who traveled outside the United States for it. People magazine made Selena's memorial in their magazine titled 1971-1995, her life in pictures. In Texas they made April 16, Selena day. In October, 1995 they convicted Saldivar of first degree murder.
"I think I'm very a kindhearted person. Um, I don't like to hurt people's feelings. If I do, it's not intentionally. I'm sincere and very honest. And I feel that now days a lot of people have lost that, but I think that starts in the home. My parents have taught me that.
